The SIL 417 GEN delivers 170 Amps in direct current for welding electrodes from 1.6 to 4.0 mm in diameter. Welds with rutile and basic coated electrodes on various metals: steel, stainless steel, cast iron, etc.
With the special torch it allows you to weld in TIG mode with "scratch" arc ignition.
Equipment: welding cables, ground clamp, electrode holder and carrying case

The SIL 415 is easy to use thanks to welding aid systems:
- Hot Start: It provides extra amps for the first seconds when igniting the arc. It helps create the right temperature in the weld pool.
- Arc Force: It reduces the risk of the electrode sticking to the weld pool.
- Anti-sticking: In case the electrode sticks to the weld pool, the welding current will be decreased to few amps, making it easy to break off the electrode
